If Shift4 burned your business, we want the paperwork.
We hold hundreds of documents that, in our view, show Shift4 abusing its own customers. We're gathering more to file with the FTC and state consumer protection agencies and to share with the appropriate litigators. Yours could help.
It may not say Shift4 on your statement
- Shift4 Dine
- SkyTab
- Harbortouch
- Restaurant Manager
- POSitouch
- Future POS
- Revel
- Shift4Shop
What we're looking for
- Fees nobody explained, or that don't match your quote
- "Free" equipment that turned out not to be free
- Rates that rose after you signed
- Termination bills you never saw coming
- Products on your statement that you never agreed to
- Support that disappeared when you needed it
- Funds held without a straight answer
What to pull together
- Your merchant agreement and every addendum
- Processing statements, especially around any fee change
- Quotes, proposals and sales materials
- Emails and texts with sales or support, and notes from calls
- Termination notices, invoices and collection letters
- Bank records showing disputed withdrawals
What not to send
- Customer card numbers or personal information
- Passwords, full bank account numbers or Social Security numbers
- Letters between you and your lawyer
Current or former Shift4 employees and agents: don't send company documents here. Talk to your own lawyer first.
Don't wait on us. Sending us documents doesn't file a complaint on your behalf or pause any legal deadline. If you have a live dispute, talk to a lawyer. You can also report directly to the FTC or your state attorney general at any time.
